Zeichner Risk Analytics (ZRA), a leading consulting firm specializing in support services and innovative solutions for Federal government agencies, approached us with a clear goal in mind: to enhance their communication through a dynamic online presence. Their existing site, live for about a year and a half, felt outdated. They were also interested in content writing services and SEO guidance to improve their online visibility. The aim was to develop a new WordPress site that not only adapted to various devices but also stood out with a unique identity. We sought to create a user-friendly design that provided ZRA with full control over content and navigation, ensuring the site was optimized for responsiveness and search engine visibility.

When ZRA first reached out to us, they were in need of a complete overhaul of their online presence. Their existing site, while functional, did not reflect the innovative and forward-thinking nature of their services. During our initial call, ZRA expressed interest in a total revamp of their current sitemap, including customized photography and content changes. They wanted their site to convey the vibe of a big corporation, similar to their competitors. They admired the websites we created for Auria and Vistant and requested a sitemap based on those designs.

Javi, our lead designer, recalls the initial meetings: “Initially, the client was looking for a fresh image, but they were still attached to an outdated design and presentation that didn’t stand out. Although we couldn’t completely steer them away from this approach, we emphasized the importance of adopting a more modern and functional design, focused on user interaction. Our goal was always to reflect the company’s values and create a new image that resonated with their audience.”

The design process faced its fair share of challenges, particularly in terms of timelines. However, through direct and constant communication with the development team, we overcame these obstacles. We prioritized best practices in both design and development, allowing us to meet established deadlines. Javi believes that while an even more attractive and innovative design could have been achieved, the final result was highly satisfactory given the client’s constraints.

Our development team then took on the lead, translating Javi’s designs into a fully functional WordPress website. The new site was built to be fully responsive, ensuring it looked great and performed well on all devices. We also implemented SEO best practices, making sure the site was easily discoverable by search engines.

During this phase, Brit, the project manager, played a crucial role by ensuring every detail was handled while adapting to the project’s changing needs daily. “The client’s active involvement and good communication with our team were essential for solving problems,” she noted. “Regular talks, ongoing reviews, and feedback, along with planning resources and a strong process for making changes, were key to our success.”
